2001-2009 : Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Union of Myanmar, New York
2004, 06, 08 : Vice President of UN General Assembly
2004 : Chairman, Special Political and Decolonization Committee of the General Assembly
2007 : Vice President of Bureau of UNICEF Executive Board
2011-2013 : Vice Chair, Myanmar National Human Rights Commission
