Asia’s Role in a Tumultuous World - In Search of a New Growth Model

The International Conference on "The Future of Asia" is a forum that each year brings together political leaders and top business executives to discuss the future of Asia-Pacific nations and how development in the region stands to impact the global economy. Since its inauguration in 1995, the conference has come to be recognized as one of the foremost international conferences in Asia.
The main theme for this year's Conference is "Asia's Role in a Tumultuous World – In Search of a New Growth Model." Outlook for the global economy has never been so uncertain. Prolonged crisis in the Eurozone and fears of a slowdown in emerging economies are just some of the factors casting a dark cloud on the global economy. On top of this, Presidential elections in major countries in the G20 could lead to drastic changes in the political landscape. In this year's Conference, we will discuss the role that the Asia-Pacific region can play to sustain growth and enhance stability in an increasingly tumultuous world.
