Duties and functions of Senior Minister of International Monetary Co-operation & Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning

 

1. Co-ordination with the Ministries related to Finance, Planning, Economic Development, External Affairs, Foreign Employment, Commerce, Trade, Science, Technology, Industrial, Tourism and Aviation aiming the economic development of Sri Lanka.
2. Co-ordination and reviewing of policies and development programmes implemented by national and international organizations in order to uplift the image of Sri Lanka to a stable position in the world's economy.
3. International Monetary Fund / World Bank / Asian Development Bank -
Country Head Represented by the Government in Sri Lanka and participated for International Seminars, Conference, Workshops and etc.
