Yorihiko Kojima
Born on 15 October, 1941
Mr. Yorihiko Kojima graduated from the University of Tokyo with BS degree in Engineering and joined Mitsubishi Corporation in 1965, assigned to the Heavy Machinery Department operating plant construction business. After being appointed to the company staff union in 1977, he was stationed in Saudi Arabia with Olayan Saudi Holdings Co., Ltd. from 1978 to 1980 and in the U.S. with Mitsubishi International Corporation, New York, from 1985 to 1992. From 1992, he served key positions at the Corporate Planning Office and the Coordination Department, and became the CEO of New Business Initiative Group in 2000. He was appointed President & CEO in 2004, further enhancing company performance during his 6 years’ presidency. He became Chairman of the Board in June 2010.
In addition to the company activities, he is the Vice Chairman of Keidanren (Japan Business Federation), and in January 2011, he co-chaired the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
