17th International Conference on The Future of Asia

The International Conference on "The Future of Asia" is a forum that eachyear brings together political leaders, including many heads of governments and top business executives from Asia to discuss outlooks of the region.
Since its inauguration in 1995, the conference has come to be recognized as one of the foremost large-scale international conferences in Asia.
The Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11 left deep scars on Japan, and its repercussions -- including disruptions to production -- are being felt throughout Asia. Given that natural disasters are a common threat to every country in the region, what steps can we take to confront such crises together?
At this year's Future of Asia conference, we will draw on our collective experiences to discuss ways of handling the reconstruction process after disasters strike, as well as ways of enhancing cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.
We look forward to your participation.
